Poem #1 - First Poem Ever
My mommy does poetry
And my daddy does poetry too
One day I am going to do poetry
So give me my candy
and let me go home.
Poem #2
Angel dressed in white,
beneath a drowning grey cloud,
Carrier of good word,
beneath the carrier of pain and destruction,
Fortunes and pleasures are whispered in my ear,
What does this mean, but disaster is on the horizon
and I shall surely fear,
Happiness and joy have made their way into my life,
and yes, it shows through the shining of the light
glowing out from my eyes,
But now it is a second later and that feeling
was years ago,
Something has happened to me to make me wish I could
wither, and away in the wind I would blow,
Happiness to me doesn't last very long,
while sadness it seems has become an everlasting song.

Love is like the morning sun,
It brightens you when you are glum.
It warms your heart with gentle care,
Just like a big soft teddy bear.
Love is like a warm spring breeze,
But sometimes it makes your heart just freeze.
Love is like the moonlight bright,
It lightens up your days and nights.
Love is there when you are feeling low,
Love is there when your hearts strikes a blow.
Things come and things go,
But TRUE LOVE can only grow.
Poem #4
Without you I feel lost,
and cannot find my way.
I close my eyes till the very next day.
Hoping that when that day dawns,
you'll be there in my arms,
making everything okay.
I know that God hears my prayer.
A prayer that He will bring me to you,
for He knows that our love is true.
I've been good to you Lord, I say
and all I ask from you in repay
is that you bring me to the one I love
this woman whom I have been thinking of.
For she is the one who has my heart,
even when we are far apart.
So I'll ask you Lord, just once more
let this girl be always mine.
For without her I am lost in time.

Everynight before I lay my head down to rest
I thank the lord from up above
for giving me the best.
He blessed me with a treasure
from the heavens up above
and I thank him everyday
for showing me your love
Because you are my everything
You're the light that brightens my day
and you ease my pain.
girl, you are.
You make my nights calm and warm
and put that smile upon my face.
Girl you are my everything
